For those who follow my social media posts, you’ll know how much I love unicorns! They are indeed, my spirit animal!

This super easy and great fun magical treat is sure to be a winner at any princess party and for any unicorn lover!

This recipe calls for concentrated, oil based food colouring. These can be bought from professional cake shops and I recommend Sugarflair from Iced Jems. If you use a water based food colouring from a supermarket, they will make the chocolate seize and not produce a good end result.

Failing colouring your own chocolate, you can use pre-coloured candy melts for a smooth and easy finish.

Once covered in chocolate they will last 2-3 days in the fridge. Keeping them in an airtight container is best.

1

Split the 600g of white chocolate into three bowls.

2

Colour as desired. I’m using pink, grape violet and ice blue Sugarflair colours.

3

Spoon different colours of chocolate over your ice cream cones. I recommend doing this over a separate bowl as I discovered after doing the first one!

4

Decorate with sprinkles and chill for two hours.

5

Leave the leftover chocolate to one side and re-melt just before taking the cones out of the fridge.

6

Dip the bottoms in and cover any wafer you may have missed.

7

Leave these to chill for a further hour.
