Millie’s Style Cookies

Shopping List

  • 125g light brown sugar
  • 125g golden caster sugar
  • 125g unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 275g self raising flour
  • 80g chopped chocolate, chocolate chips, whatever you like!

These soft and sweet Millie’s style cookies are tasty any day of the week!

I used chopped chocolate chunks in mine but feel free to use chocolate chips, nuts, raisins, whatever you like!

Cream together the butter and sugars.

Add in the eggs and mix well.

Add in the flour and mix to form a dough.

Add in the chocolate chips/chunks/whatever you like.

Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for 15 minutes.

Roll into balls and place on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.

Bake at 180C for 8-10 minutes.

These cookies are best warm, when the chocolate is still all melty! Let them firm up slightly though or they will fall apart when you try to take them off the baking tray.
