It is miserable out there!! Rain and wind that hasn’t stopped. Boo.

So, we need something colourful to cheer us up! So have a go with this. I’m using a Cake Pop Maker from Lakeland but this also works with the cake pop baking tin I have seen around too.

1

You need to start with preparing your normal favourite cake mix. I’m using a madeira mix that I like.

2

Split the mix into different bowls and colour accordingly. (I’m doing rainbow colours as this is my favourite but there’s so many options of colours! You could do different shades of pink for a girls christening or red and blue for a spiderman cake!)

3

Pour half of the mixture into your lined cake tin.

4

Spoon the colours of mixture into your cake pop maker or tin.

5

Bake for the allotted time until you have perfect little spheres!

6

Place the bakes cake pops into the tin and push them into the mixture.

7

Top with the rest of the mixture and bake.

Once cooled, ice as desired and cut into slices! Ta-da!!

A little surprise in each slice :-) I think these are fab!

Give them a go and let me know how you get on. Either on Facebook or Twitter.

Happy baking!
