This rich and decedent chocolate cake is so delicious! Perfect for birthdays, having guests over or just because!
Split and filled with chocolate buttercream, coated in a layer of chocolate buttercream and then decorated. I have COVERED this cake in chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate but how you finish it is completely up to you!
It will hold up to being covered in sugarpaste/icing and used as a tier. Once baked, it will last 5-6 days. This recipe is for a 7″ round cake.
Pour the mix into a lined 7″ round tin and bake at 140C (fan assisted) for 1 hour 40 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
