Chocolate Chip Cookies

Shopping List

  • 250g self raising flour
  • 125g unsalted butter
  • 125g light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 100g chocolate chips
Preparation Time:- 45 mins Cooking Time:- 8-10 mins

There’s something just so lovely about a home baked chocolate chip cookie!

These tasty morsels can be made and enjoyed in less than an hour and are perfect with a glass of milk!


Cream together the butter and light brown sugar.


Add in the egg.


Add in the flour.


Pour in the vanilla


Lastly, add in the chocolate chips.


Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for 30 mins.


Roll into balls and place ono a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper and bake at 180C for 8-10 mins.

These cookies will last 4-5 days in an airtight tin. Although, they don’t last that long in my house!!
