Today, we are making cheese & bacon scones. Perfect for this cold Autumnal weather. These little beauties are amazing fresh and warm from the oven with a layer of butter. It’s warming and comforting food.

1

Cut up your bacon and fry it until your desired crispyness! (I like mine rather crispy)

2

Make sure your cheese is grated nicely!

3

Cut your butter into cubes.

4

Time to get your hands messy! Rub together the butter, flour and salt.

5

Then pour in the milk…

6

And mix in the grated cheese and bacon…

7

Then combine it all and pat it out onto the side.

8

Cut out nice size circles.

9

Lay them out evenly spaced on a baking tray.

10

And brush the top of them with milk.

Bake at 190C (fan assisted) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on top!

Take out of the oven and enjoy warm with butter!
