If you’re looking for something light and pretty healthy, these frozen banana chocolate peanut butter bites are perfect.

A nice alternative to ice cream, these bites are best kept in the freezer and great to go for when you fancy something sweet. This treat is also gluten free and can easily be made dairy free by using a ‘free from’ chocolate.

1

Break the chocolate into a bowl and melt until smooth. Once melted add two tablespoons of vegetable oil to make the consistency nice and smooth. Chop the bananas and lay them out on a tray lined with greaseproof paper.

2

Spread a little peanut butter on top of the bananas.

3

Top them with another slice of banana.

4

Then pop them in the freezer for 45 minutes – 1 hour. Then dip the frozen banana slices into the chocolate and twist around so it is equally covered.

5

Pop them back on the tray and put them back in the freezer for another half an hour.

And here you have them! Super tasty, super easy! These bites are best kept in the freezer and will last for 2-3 weeks. Take them out about 10 minutes before enjoying.

Give it a try and let me know how you get on either on Facebook or Twitter or Instagram.
