Valentine’s Strawberry Creams

Shopping List

  • 250g icing sugar
  • 120g Carnation condensed milk
  • 1 tsp strawberry flavouring
  • Food colouring. (I’m using sugarflair gel claret.)
  • White chocolate
Preparation Time:- 15 minutes Cooking Time:- N/A
Complexity:

These heart shaped bites are not only super cute, but super easy too.

With only 5 ingredients and no baking required, they make a perfect Valentines present or just to have as a sweet treat if you’re entertaining! Experimenting with flavours and colours is really fun to do with these.

1

First, sieve the icing sugar into a bowl.

2

Pour in the condensed milk and your flavouring.

3

Mix together to a stiff consistency.

4

Add in your food colouring and mix until you get an even colour. Then use your hands to knead the mixture into a ball of paste. Pop this paste in the fridge to harden for 10-15 minutes.

5

Once chilled, place the ball of paste onto an icing sugar dusted side. You’re going to need a rolling pin and spacers.

6

Roll out the paste between your spacers and start to cut out your hearts or other desired shape!

7

Pop your heart shapes onto some baking paper and pop in the fridge again to set. Ideally for 2-3 hours but for best results leave overnight.

8

Once your shapes have set, melt your white chocolate and drizzle over using a spoon.

Once the white chocolate has dried, your shapes are ready to enjoy!

You can pop them in a cellophane bag to make adorable presents for your friends and loved ones.

Give it a try and let me know how you get on either on Facebook or Twitter or Instagram.
