Mini Cheese Scones
Shopping List
- 100g grated mature cheese
- 125g salted butter
- 150ml whole milk
- 250g self raising flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- Pinch salt
There’s something delicious and comforting about warm cheese scones smothered in butter. I had a real craving for these the other day and considering I’ve now been a vegetarian since 2018, I adapted my Cheese & Bacon Scones recipe into Mini Cheese Scones!
Delicious with marmite too, if you like that sort of thing! (Which I do! Haha!)
This recipe makes about 20 mini cheese scones.
Crumb together the butter and flour, salt and baking powder using your hands or a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment.
Enjoy fresh and warm out of the oven with lots and lots of delicious butter.
These will last 2 days in an airtight container but for best results, eat fresh. If leaving to store, warm up in the microwave before enjoying.
Give it a try and let me know how you get on either on Facebook or Twitter or Instagram.
