This Saturday I taught my Christmas themed beginners guide to cake decorating. In The Clubhouse, a room full of lovely ladies who all took home a beautifully decorated, christmas themed cake.
We spent the morning modelling cute penguins and creating snowflakes and personalised messages in the students chosen colours. Then the afternoon consisted of splitting our cake and filling it with tasty vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam, then covering it in a smooth layer of icing. We then spent some time decorating our cake and adding professional finishing touches.
All the finished cakes from the day!
My finished cake.
We had a wonderful day and I’m very excited to teach the next Beginners Guide to Cake Decorating in January. The next class will be a tea party theme with decorations including mini cakes, dessert items and picnic food.
